Bathed in natural light beneath The Rookery’s iconic glass atrium, the day was overflowing with joy and unapologetic love. Every embrace felt effortless and exuberant, alive with the energy of the city.

Allison and Ben’s wedding felt like something straight out of a fairytale with a beautiful blend of British tradition and classic American romance. They started the day getting ready at The Langham in a stunning suite overlooking the Chicago skyline, setting the tone for a celebration that was both elegant and deeply personal.

The ceremony and reception took place at The Rookery, where Lavender Fields Florist transformed the historic space into an enchanted garden filled with soft florals and romantic details. The ceremony itself was incredibly emotional; the kind where there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. One of the most touching moments was seeing Allison’s grandmother there to witness her granddaughter get married, a quiet, beautiful reminder of how meaningful it is to have generations together on a day like this.

Later in the evening, Allison changed into a second dress for the party, and we stepped out for nighttime portraits in front of the Board of Trade creating the perfect Chicago moment to close out an unforgettable day.
